Family Bucket List – help us add to it!

Have you ever actually made a bucket list of the things you want to see or do in your lifetime? Have you ever wanted to?

Well here is your chance to contribute to someone’s list! We need input and would love to hear from all of you!

I divided our Family Bucket List into two categories. One column lists the places we want to SEE or visit. The second column is a list of experiences we want to have or things we want to DO.

Keep in mind, that we are a family of 6 people with 4 children ages 8, 6, 4 and 2……so this list has to work well for all of us. As much as I know that Tony would like to add skydiving to the list, it just isn’t happening with our kiddos. 😉

Places to SEE across the continental USA.

  • Grand Canyon
  • Olympic National Park
  • Glacier National Park
  • Crater Lake
  • Visit a cave
  • Mount St. Helens
  • Pacific and Atlantic oceans
  • Painted Dessert
  • Redwoodforest
  • Washington D.C.

Experiences we’d like to well….experience!

  • Hike together in the rainforest
  • Go snorkeling
  • Go on an airboat tour of the swamps and see an alligator!
  • Witness the full solar eclipse together
  • Ride a cable car in San Fransisco
  • Take the kids horseback riding
  • Do volunteer work together
  • Meet up with other full-time traveling families
  • Swim together in the Pacific and the Atlantic Ocean
  • Spot a whale!

During our travel around the United States, we’d really LOVE to meet up with any family and friends along our journey. If you live outside of Minnesota we love to come to you and see where you live and experience life in your area of the country. Or if anyone from back in Minnesota would like to meet up with us at a particular location on our travels we’d love the company. Our RV even has space for 2 more people to sleep!

Reach out to us if you’d like to make plans with us on our travels. Or if you have any special suggestions on places to see, things we MUST do, or places we should stay!

Spotting dolphins on a dolphin cruise in Orange Beach, Alabama in Feb. 2016.

  1. Maybe try to swim with dolphins??? They should have spots for that around the coast, Florida maybe???

  2. My cousin owns a white water rafting company in Idaho called “H2O Idaho” which may be a bit much for your kids at their ages. Regardless, keep it in mind and don’t forget about the forests of northern Idaho and while you’re at it, hit up Mount Hood in Oregon.

    • Jill Greising-Murschel

We would love to go white water rafting, but I just don’t think our kids are old enough yet. We will keep it in mind though! Thanks for the suggestions!

  3. Angela Severance

Monterey and Big Sur California! Breathtaking views and Supping with the Sea Lions!!!

  4. Cape Canaveral – time it to see a launch
Chaco canyon – It’s been about 20 years since I was there, so hopefully they’ve improved the roads some since then. If not, it might be hard to get an RV in, but worth investigating!
Jewel Cave – check out the spelunking tour when the kids are older
